A newer processor does not automatically make the more expensive phone a better fit. Look at the tasks that matter: hand comfort, outdoor display readability, camera focal lengths, battery health, charging access, storage headroom, carrier support, and the cost of a reliable repair. Samsung's update policies changed across these generations.
